Karen Mackie joined HTCNJ in 2017 as the Executive Director after volunteering with the organization for six months. She is responsible for overseeing HTCNJ’s three programs (Medical Teams Abroad, International Inbound, Domestic Aid), spearheading the marketing and fundraising efforts of the organization, and serving as the liaison between the Board of Trustees and the office.
International Inbound Program Coordinator
Denise Malsky joined HTCNJ in 1990. She is the Coordinator of the International Inbound Program, where she arranges life-changing surgeries for international children who are unable to be treated in their native country. Denise is also the Coordinator of the Domestic Aid Program, where she interacts with social workers and medical providers to provide assistance to disadvantaged New Jersey children born with disabilities and developmental delays.
Medical Teams Abroad Coordinator
Arlyne joined HTCNJ in 2019. She is the Coordinator of the Medical Teams Abroad Program, where she assists the Co-Directors in assembling volunteer medical teams, liaises with international hosts and hospitals, and helps to obtain donated medications and surgical supplies.
