we strive to help children live normal lives that are healthier, happier, and more optimistic.

Medical Teams Abroad

HTCNJ sends volunteer medical teams overseas to provide pro-bono medical care to children in need.

International Inbound

HTCNJ hosts children from around the world while they receive medical treatment not available in their native countries.

Domestic Aid

HTCNJ helps children with complex medical diagnoses by providing specialized equipment, therapeutic care, OTC supplies, and financial assistance.

It costs HTCNJ on average $10,000 to send a medical team abroad.

The MTA Program can correct strabismus and ptosis for $200 per child.

The MTA Program can perform 12 different types of ENT surgeries for $250 per child.

The MTA Program can do plastic and reconstructive surgeries such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and burn contractures for $250 per child.

The MTA Program can give the gift of improved sight by performing congenial cataract surgery for less than $200 per child.

In 2019, the International Inbound Program helped 2 children receive life-changing surgeries and the opportunity for a brighter future.

In 2019, HTCNJ provided assistance to 74 children in New Jersey born with complex medical diagnoses and developmental disabilities.
